May 2026, The RHS show and a walk around Worcester city and cathedral with the sound of cricket in the background - this is still my favourite area.
The camp site was very full for the show and county cricket. In the distance are the Malvern hills, with the surrounding area forming part of the flat river Severn flood plain. After a day at the show, as always amazed by the stunning exhibitions, we spent the next walking around Worcester, the cathedral and city centre. It was good to see a lot of rejuvenation of local landmarks. The highlight may have been lunch at the Columbian café francinicafe.com.
